This Privacy Policy describes how DZ Brands LLC (dba Dazed Extracts) and its affiliates (collectively, “Dazed Extracts,” “us,” “our,” or “we”) collect, use, maintain, disclose, and protect your Personal Information. By providing Personal Information to us or by using our Site located at https://www.dazedextracts.com (the “Site”) or to us in person when you visit one of our locations, purchase any of our products, talk to us on the phone or interact with us via email (the “Services”), you acknowledge the Privacy Policy, and you are consenting to the collection, use, and disclosure of that information as described in this Privacy Policy.

United States Use Only
Our Site is intended for users/consumers within the United States. We do not target, market, or sell to users/consumers outside the United States, including Canada, the EU/UK/EEA, etc.
Age Restricted Use
Our Site and products are intended for persons 21 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 21 years of age. Any information we identify that belongs to a person under 21 years of age will be promptly deleted upon its identification. If you learn that your child has provided us with Personal Information without your consent, alert us at IT@dazedextracts.com.

Personal Information does not include information that has been aggregated or de-identified.

We may display or provide links to third-party websites at our physical locations, or on our Site. We do not control the content or links that appear on these sites and are not responsible for them. These sites may have their own privacy policies. Browsing and interacting on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Site, are subject to that website’s terms and policies.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Cookies are small files that are stored on the device you use to access our Site. Your web browsers place cookies on their device’s storage for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them.
You may choose to set your web browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you adjust your settings to refuse cookies, or if you delete cookies, you may not be able to access or use some portions of the Site and some features may not work as intended.
Our Site uses first-party cookies (set by Dazed Extracts) and third-party cookies (set by web analytics partners). The cookies used on our Site may be persistent or session-based.
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand website usage. GA4 receives page information and pseudonymous identifiers (e.g., Cookie IDs). GA4 documentation states it does not log or store IP addresses. You can learn more about and control GA4 via the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On.
Do Not Track
We do not currently recognize browser signals regarding tracking mechanisms, which include “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals sent by web browsers, mobile devices, or other mechanisms. You may opt out of online behavioral ads at http://www.aboutads.info/choices/. You also may limit certain tracking by disabling cookies in your web browser.
Your Choices
You have several ways to interact with the Personal Information we process, including requesting a record of your information, updating, or correcting it, and deleting it.

Stop receiving marketing communications. You can ask us to stop using your Personal Information for marketing emails by clicking the “unsubscribe” button on the emails you receive.
Delete your data. You can request the deletion of your Personal Information by contacting us at IT@dazedextracts.com. Some data may remain for the purpose of maintaining a record of any deletion request or where permitted or required by law.
You can control certain cookies and tracking tools. Certain browsers can be set to reject browser cookies, which can be done through the settings of the web browser(s) you use.

Please include your full name and email address along with why you are writing so that we can process your request in a timely manner. We aim to respond to a consumer request for access or deletion within 30 days of receiving that request.
Verification and Appeal Process
We are required by law to take reasonable steps to verify your identity prior to responding to your request. If we are unable to process your request via you authenticating yourself on the Services, we may verify your request by asking for sufficient information to confirm your identity, based on the information we have on file.

California Shine the Light Disclosure
Residents of the State of California may also request a list of all third parties to which we have disclosed certain Personal Information during the preceding year for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes. If you are a California resident and want such a list, please send us an email at IT@dazedextracts.com or write to us using information in the “Contact Us” section below. For all requests, you must put the statement “Your California Privacy Rights – Shine the Light” in the body of your request, as well as your name, street address, city, state, and zip code. Please allow 30 days for a response.
Nevada Privacy Rights Disclosure
If you are a Nevada resident, you can request that we not “sell” your “covered information” (as defined in applicable Nevada law). To make such a request, email us at IT@dazedextracts.com (please include “Nevada Do Not Sell” in the subject line).
Keeping Your Personal Information Secure
We have appropriate security measures in place to prevent Personal Information from being accidentally lost or used or accessed in an unauthorized way. We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, including access controls, encryption where appropriate, and administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so.
How Do We Store the Information We Collect?
We retain Personal Information for the period required by applicable state cannabis regulations or for as long as necessary to fulfill business or legal obligations. Specifically:
a. Purchase and transaction history for recreational cannabis is stored as required by state tax and regulatory authorities (typically 3-5 years).
b. Marketing and promotional data is retained only as long as necessary to provide services and will be deleted upon request.
c. Event-level analytics data associated with cookies and user identifiers is retained by Google Analytics for 26 months (configured in our GA4 property, after which it is automatically deleted by the platform).
Consent to Receive Electronic Notifications
Electronic communication is the most effective and timely way to provide users of the Website and Services with any optional or required notifications and disclosures. Through this Privacy Policy, pursuant to 15 U.S.C. § 7001, you hereby affirmatively consent to receive electronic notifications and disclosures from us only (without requiring a paper copy). You have the right to change your mind and withdraw your consent at any time.
In the event you receive marketing email communications from us and no longer wish to, you can click the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any marketing email to opt out of further marketing communications.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
Dazed Extracts has the discretion to update or change this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make any change in how we use Personal Information, we will notify you by email if you have provided your email address to us or by means of a notice on the Site. Any changes will become effective when the revised Privacy Policy is posted on the Site.
